Dr. Constance M.B. McIntyre
started dancing at the age of four. Her training includes, but not
exclusively in the areas of classical ballet with Anjali Austin, former
member of the Dance Theater of Harlem, Sheila Humphreys, Richard
Sias and Lee Brooke, former chairman of the Department of Dance at
Florida International University. She has studied Graham technique with
Myra Woodruff, Anthony Morgan and Jacqulyn Buglisis of the Buglisis
& Forman Dance Company. She was honored to study modern
technique with Jawole Zollar, artistic director for the Urban Bush
Woman Dance Company from New York City; Lynda Davis; various members
of the Doug Varone Company and the Garth Fagan Dance Company,
choreographer for the musical "The Lion King."
She is a graduate of Florida International University
in Miami, Florida where she received a B.A. Degree in Dance Education;
and a M.F.A. Degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee,
Florida in Professional Performance in Dance. She also received a degree
in Practical Theology and a Teaching Certificate in Biblical Studies
from International Seminary in Plymouth, Florida and a Doctorate in
Christian Education from Jacksonville Theological Seminary in Christian
Education. Dr. McIntyre has served as Biblical instructor and faculty
member of Rose of Sharon Bible College/International Seminary and is the
Rose of Sharon School of Liturgical Dance as Artistic Director and
Choreographer. She is a licensed Minister of Biblical Studies and Music.
She is a member of the Florida Dance Association and The Sacred Dance
Guild.
Formerly an instructor in classical ballet and modern
dance at Florida State University, she is also the author of Liturgical Dance:
An Aesthetic View of Christian Worship through the Vehicle of Movement.
She is the former dance editor for the Love Express Newspaper, in
which she wrote a three part series on Dance: Is It For The Church or
Not? Dr. McIntyre has choreographed and produced over eighteen major
dance productions. She choreographed her first television special for
PBS, Faces, in 1986. She later went on to appear in Dance
Fever, BET, WLRN (Channel 17) and was a finalist in the Discovery
talent show. She has received commendations from the Mayor of the City
of Miami, Xavier L. Suarez-92 and the Mayor of Opa-Locka-1999 and 2004.
Dr. Vincent & Dr. McIntyre, received the Keys to the City of
Miami from Commissioner Chairman Arthur E. Teele, Jr and Mayor
Manuel D. Diaz-2004, along with a Proclamation from Alex Penelas,
Mayor of Miami Dade County, Florida-2004.
Formerly the Artistic Director of the Rose of Sharon
School of Liturgical Dance for thirteen years; She is also formerly the
co-founder of Rose of Sharon School of Liturgical Dance, the founder of
the Youth Dance Ministry and the Rose of Sharon International Dance
Company in Miami, Florida. Presently along with her husband Dr. Vincent
McIntyre, she is the Artistic Director and Co-Founder of The
McIntyre Institute, and founder of The
International JEDAH Company.
She is a former Adjunct Professor at Florida International University in the
Department of Theatre and Dance. She has ministered through the venue of
dance and preaching and teaching the word of God, in which she utilizes her distinctive brand of inspired liturgical dance. She has conducted
seminars and workshops in Verona, Italy; Belize, Central America;
Amsterdam, Holland; London, England; Kingston, Jamaica; Port of Spain,
Trinidad, and throughout the United States.

Pastor Vincent M. McIntyre called in 1982 as a
proficient man of God full of the Holy Ghost has always had a burning
desire to be a channel of blessings, and as much, God has anointed. He
is especially grateful to God for the influence of great leaders in his
life and ministry. These faithful stewards of God's Word made an
indelible mark on his life, Brother Ulysses Morris, who mentored and
encouraged him to stay in the Lord even against all odds, has even to
this day remained a faithful friend and the late Dr. Thedford Johnson,
and international theological scholar and Pastor of the National Baptist
Convention for 39 years, who appointed Elder Vincent McIntyre as
Co-Pastor of Caanan Missionary Baptist Church.
Pastor McIntyre's experience as an astute businessman
began early in his childhood by Mr. Percy Smallwood and his wife who
owned several local businesses were great influences in his life. Upon
going through trials, troubles, being homeless at the age of 14, he
learned early what it is to work hard even when obstacles presented
themselves. Today, his hard work has paid off and now, Elder McIntyre is
the President and CEO of several successful companies, Ecumenical
Development, Inc. and its subsidiaries W.V., Inc. (International) and
Ecumenical Community Services/Management, Inc. an the McIntyre
Institute. Providing homes, instruction and jobs within the community.
He has also proven himself efficient in various
political endeavors. He served four years as Community Liaison for the
Florida House of Rep-District 109. He has recently been nominated and
accepted the position of Florida Senior Delegate to the National
Planning and Strategy Workshops in Washington, D.C. He was recently
recognized in the Wall Street Journal as Businessman of the Year
2001-2004. He is currently a member of the National Presidential and
Congressional Business Commission at Washington DC.
In addition Mr. McIntyre serves as honorary chairman
representing the State of Florida in the National Business advisory
Council at Washington DC Ordained as Senior Pastor for United States by
Bishop Gabriel Imoisi of Christ Fellowship International with over forty
churches in Africa. Pastor McIntyre is licensed in the United States,
Europe and Asia.
In December 2003 Pastor McIntyre was presented the
prestigious H.E.R.O.S. Award by the Chief of the City of Miami Police
Department. A humble man, from humble beginnings, Pastor Vincent
McIntyre has risen to the challenge and impacted our community, state,
and country for the Lord, through his ministry and gifts. His greatest
desire is to see God's people empowered to operate in spiritual
excellence, financial freedom and moral purity, all to the glory of God.
